Insurance Minimums
Single-Engine Fixed Gear
Covers: Cessna 150/152s, Cessna 172s, Cirrus SR20,
G1000 Skylane
Requirements to solo:
- Student pilots must be under direct supervision of a Trident Instructor with proper endorsements in logbook and on student pilot certificate prior to flight.
- Private pilots must be checked out by a Trident CFI in order to prove competency in ground and flight skills before any solo flight.
- The Cirrus SR20 requires 5 hours of dual by a Cirrus certified instructor before any solo flight.
- A pilot is required to have 10 landings in make and model prior to any solo flight in the 182 G1000.
Single-Engine Tail Wheel
Covers: Super Decathlon
Requirements to solo:
- Private Pilot's license
- 150 hours Pilot in Command time
- 25 hours tail wheel and 5 hours in 8KCAB or 10 hours & 15 landings dual instruction received in 8KCAB
Multi-Engine
Covers: Beechcraft Duchess
Requirements to solo:
- Private Pilot's license
- 300 hours Pilot In Command time 10 hours in BE76 or 5 hours instruction received in BE76 and 50 hours multi-engine
- In lieu of 50 hours multi-engine time, renter can receive 15 hours of instruction prior to solo flight in BE76
Single Engine Complex
Covers: Beechcraft T34B
Requirements to solo:
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating
- 300 hours total time
- 50 hours retractable
- 10 hours T34
